Students take part in the Disney Youth Education Series Program in Orlando, Fla.

Kingwood High School students used the Walt Disney World Resort as a classroom on Jan. 7, 2015 when they participated in the Disney Youth Education Series “Disney Leadership Strategies” at the Epcot Park. The group of students traveled from Kingwood, Texas to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to take part in the Disney Youth Education Series program.

In this three-hour academic adventure students investigated proven management strategies employed by The Walt Disney Company and experienced how leadership spurs innovation and promotes personal and professional success.

The Disney Youth Education Series allows students to see how the principles they are learning in the classroom are making exciting things happen every day at the Disney Parks. From physics to history, each unique program emphasizes the importance of team work and critical thinking skills while giving students a one-of-a-kind learning experience that blends the magic of Disney with key educational content.
