The Autumn Creek Elementary PTO has been established to serve the families and staff of Autumn Creek Elementary, as well as the local community, as students and staff embark on the first school year at their new campus.
The Autumn Creek Elementary PTO Board consists of the following members:
Natalie Carter - president; Kira Irchirl - secretary; Francis Stanley - treasurer; Markita Phillips - fundraising director; Katrina Johnson - hospitality director; April Shaw - spirit shop director; Chassidy Mitchell - fifth grade coordinator; Jacci Chambers - cultural arts coordinator; Robyn Hoekstra - health and safety coordinator; Elissa Boedeker - IT/web coordinator; Brittany Furlow - junior achievement coordinator; Nicole Ilacqua - media/publicity coordinator; Vanessa Miekstyn - yearbook coordinator; Chianti Barbarin - volunteer coordinator; Jennie Basile - room parent coordinator, grades K, 1, 2; Michelle Wilson - room parent coordinator, Grades 3, 4, 5; Laura Castrillo — workroom coordinator; Marilyn Mann — Autumn Creek PTO support and Humble ISD community engagement specialist; Christina Spears — Autumn Creek PTO support and Humble ISD instructional design and authentic assessments coordinator.
The focus of the Autumn Creek Elementary PTO is community unity with the goal of enriching the experience of learning at Autumn Creek for both students and their families.
The PTO board is working to develop scholarships for students, provide assistance during natural disaster events that affect the community and give back to PTOs at Title One schools in the district. The board is seeking the help of area businesses and community partners to make this possible.
