The Kingwood Humble Area Aggie Moms Club is pleased to announce the winners of its 2017 scholarships. The club selected 10 high school seniors from the local area to receive a scholarship for Texas A&M University (TAMU). The winning students represent a cross-section of local high schools from Humble ISD, Porter ISD and New Caney ISD.

The Aggie Moms had also been busy working on a July Howdy Party in an effort to assist local students planning to attend TAMU in the fall. All new, transferring and returning TAMU students and family members were welcomed to attend the event held Sunday, July 16 at First Baptist Church in Kingwood. Membership in the Kingwood Humble Area Aggie Moms Club is open to any mother or guardian of a current or former Texas A&M student (Galveston or College Station). The club was chartered in 1984 and is one of more than 100 Aggie Moms Clubs located across the country. The club is a recognized 501(c)3 organization and provides support for current students of TAMU and their parents or guardians. Members include moms from Atascocita, Crosby, Huffman, Humble, Kingwood, New Caney, Porter, Summer Creek and Splendora.
