Adonai Paz, a senior at Quest Early College High School, was honored as a Dell Scholar. She is the first Dell Scholar in Humble ISD and plans to attend the University of Houston, major in biology and eventually become an obstetrician.

Adonai Paz, a senior at Quest Early College High School, was selected as one of 350 Dell Scholars by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Each Dell Scholar receives $20,000 in scholarships, a laptop and extra support. As soon as Dell Scholars are selected, the program begins to work with each student to establish a customized college plan helping them identify and plan for any potential challenges they might face throughout their time in college.

Additionally, Adonai becomes part of a support network for Dell Scholars, their schools, families, peers and a dedicated Dell Scholar team at the Michael & Susan Dell foundation.

“This opens up some interesting opportunities for me and my future,” Paz said. “Like here at Quest, the Dell Scholarship is very supportive. I’ll get to network and bond with people like me.”
