Agent Spotlight: Leslie Nichols

Leslie Nichols – RE/MAX Associates Northeast How long have you been a Realtor? 12 years. What made you become a Realtor? Initially, I wanted to pursue my interests in interior design. At 30, I moved to Aspen, Colo. where I was lucky enough to work as the design coordinator for a top Aspen design firm. In the years after that, I continued my artistic pursuit by selling fine furnishings and running my own interior design company, Ambience Interiors. When I moved to Ft. Lauderdale, I got the idea of marrying a Real Estate career with Design. I thought it would be the perfect blend – selling homes and helping my clients shape them to fit their taste and lifestyle. I became a Realtor for a South Florida real estate company that was affiliated with Christie’s. For the next five years, I enjoyed mixing design with selling beachfront condos and luxury property in Miami, Coral Gables, Ft. Lauderdale and Weston. FYI – the stuff you see on CSI Miami is very much like real life there. What brought you to the Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area? I moved to Kingwood because I missed the Southwest and wanted to be closer to my family. I also wanted a place where my kids could get a quality education and grow up in the same kind of down-home environment that I had as a child. Kingwood has proven to be an excellent place to live, work and raise a family.
