Amy Rocka – Keller Williams Realty NE
How long have you been a Realtor?
October 2010 will be two years and I have been with Keller Williams Realty NE from the start.
What made you become a Realtor?
My husband and I were purchasing our current home in July of 2008, and I fell in love with looking and walking through the homes. Plus our Keller Williams Realtor was so awesome and accommodating, I wanted to help people just as she helped my husband and me.
What is the most expensive home you’ve ever sold?
I have worked with all price ranges. As of the end of July, I have closed 16 transactions and will meet my goal of becoming a “multi-million dollar producer.”
What do you think about the market at this time?
I have not seen much of a change in the market as I came in during all of this. People told me this was the worst time to become a Realtor...but I haven’t known it any other way. I guess I have made the best, worked hard and it has paid off. People are still selling and buying – 2010 has been an awesome year for me.
What brought you to the Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area?
My husband is a native from New Caney and I am from Katy. I moved to New Caney when we were dating and soon married. My husband is more of a country boy and I am more of a city girl so we moved to Atascocita in 2008 as a nice compromise.
