Kingwood Native Recognized as a Young Leader

Hoar Construction is celebrating the graduation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist Trey Darnell and Project Manager Chris Potter from the Young Leaders Council Williamson County, Tennessee. Young Leaders Council is a nonprofit organization that trains individuals to effectively participate on the boards of nonprofits. Darnell and Potter are among 18 individuals that graduated from the program this spring. They now will serve a one year internship with a Williamson County Tennessee nonprofit board. Darnell will be working with Franklin Tomorrow, Inc. and Potter will be working with Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee. We are extremely proud of this achievement and the commitment to community these two have shown, said Jason Bennett, Vice President of Operations for Hoar Construction. The decision to give back is vitally important to the success of our communities and we commend their efforts. Trey Darnell is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist in Hoar Constructions Tennessee office. His work focuses on virtually coordinating building systems to provide the highest quality projects for clients while integrating new technology into all phases of construction. Originally from Kingwood, Texas, Darnell now resides in Franklin, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Auburn University (2010) with a B.S. in Building Science. Chris Potter is a Project Manager in Hoars Tennessee office. His work focuses on managing project scope, budgets and contracts. Potter is responsible for all cost, schedule, quality and performance objectives and is a vital component to the success of his projects. Originally from Elizabethton, Tennessee, Potter now resides in Nolensville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University (2006) with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology.
