The Groves continues offering current and future residents state-of-the-art amenities, new parks and a variety of new home options that make life in the “Naturehood” unique to the area.
New model homes, opening within expanded sections of The Groves, are available now from builders, including Highland Homes, Chesmar Homes and Perry Homes, presenting brand-new models and product line-ups with homes starting from the $220s. Home features include exquisite kitchens, spacious living rooms, lavish master suites, game rooms, outdoor living space, multi-car garages, formal dining rooms and more. Additional homebuilders within The Groves include Westin Homes, Village Builders, Trendmaker Homes and Lennar. The Groves has 13 product line-ups to choose from with homes from the $220s-$600s.
The Groves recently received the 2019 Quality Planned Development Designation from the North Houston Association in recognition of the community’s commitment to the stringent mandates of superior development found in the trendsetting quality-living and working communities in Greater North Houston.
Mini Groves, open by the end of 2019, will include a toddler adventure playground, a miniature fire tower with roller slide designed to match the entry to the community, creek fall surface areas with animals embedded within to mimic Madera Creek, synthetic turf hills, an open lawn area with Adirondack chairs and hammocks to mirror The Hearth, a trike track representing Madera Run Parkway, a Matchbox car track to race mini-cars, chalkboard cylinders, and a small fish camp akin to the life-sized fish camp within the community.
The Groves also has new amenities in the community’s 10 miles of tranquil trails. Harmony Station contains musical elements such as wind chimes, chimes in the shape of a “chime-asaurus,” grandioso chimes and whale drums and is located along the paths to provide peaceful musical accompaniment and inspiration to walkers. Discovery Square and Exploration Trails offer additional innovative park elements including mirrored stumps, a dragon swing, picnic tables in the trees, a group spinner, art-within-nature pieces, woodland animal statues, bird hotels, bat boxes, squirrel bridges, and more.
A 1-mile connection of Madera Run Parkway to Woodland Hills Drive was recently completed, making The Groves one of the only master-planned communities in Houston within five minutes of the beltway.
Other amenities for Groves residents include: the Hearth Amenity Center, featuring a resort-style pool, event pavilion, great lawn, hammocks, outdoor fireplace and a creek overlook; the Lifestyle Center, featuring a great lawn, splash pad, fitness center, fire pit, walking trails, scenic views of the woods, and outdoor yard games such as foosball, ping pong and life-sized Jenga; a full-time lifestyle director who plans year-round events including The Gathering – a community-wide meal once a quarter, ‘Groves After Dark’ events (Casino Night, Wine Night and Bourbon and Cigar Nights), Outdoor Movie Nights, Cub Club for the little ones, and Field Trips – community-wide excursions; and Fish Camp, which includes a stocked fishing pond for catch-and-release fishing and a dock with covered lounge space and trails.
Groves residents have easy access to top-of-the-line schools conveniently located within the community. West Lake Middle School recently opened for the 2018-2019 school year. Humble ISD also opened the state-of-the-art Groves Elementary School for the 2017-18 school year led by Dr. Brian Peters.
