Kings Harbor recently announced new tenants and the expansion of popular concepts.

“Wine and Design has selected Kings Harbor for its first Texas location,” said Suzanne Weatherall, senior vice-president with Midway, the developer of Kings Harbor. “It makes a great statement about Kings Harbor that the industry-leading ‘paint and sip’ company has chosen to enter Texas and establish its 76th location here.”

Wine and Design creates events for the whole family, with kids’ painting classes and community-spirited “Paint it Forward” parties to support local charities.

Returning tenants in newly renovated spaces include The Berry Bar, a local family-owned favorite for frozen yogurt, smoothies, acai bowls, waffles and more.

Chimichurri’s, the South American Grill, anticipates reopening by the end of August to reveal a new contemporary global cuisine concept over two years in the making.

Raffa’s Waterfront Grill, owned by Kingwood residents Tony and Leslie Raffa, will reopen later this fall, with culinary-trained chefs serving an innovative menu of daily specials in settings that include a waterfront patio, a new private dining room, and an exciting open kitchen.

Zammitti’s Italian Ristorante has expanded its menu and its physical space. The restaurant’s redesign resembles an outdoor piazza in the family’s native Sicily, and new offerings include espresso and an expanded bar.

Sharky’s Waterfront Grill has not yet announced its anticipated reopening date.

Office tenants include BRW Architects, Capital Title, Comfort & Care Medical Supplies, Edward Jones, Joseph Chris Partners, and Orion Engineered Carbons.

Even before its retailers and restaurants are fully rebuilt, Kings Harbor was back in the swing with family-friendly and community-focused events, including its Harborside Farmers’ Market, Sunset Yoga at the Harbor sponsored by Life Time Fitness Kingwood, Movies Under the Moon, Second Saturday Concert Series, and Holiday at the Harbor Dec. 15.

The year of rebuilding and renewal will culminate with a celebration to “Ring in the New Year and a New Harbor.” The grand reopening event on Dec. 31 will be ideal for all ages, with free live music on The Green from 4-7 p.m. and a fireworks show off the Kings Harbor Pier at 7 p.m.
