Keller Williams Northeast
How long have you been a Realtor? I’ve been a real estate agent since 2015. Before that, I was in human resources consulting for almost 20 years, where I helped companies with the legal requirements associated with pension and 401(k) plans.
Why did you become a Realtor? I’ve always enjoyed interacting with a wide variety of people and I enjoy helping people. I also enjoy the complexity of real estate transactions and guiding people through the process of buying or selling a home.
What is the most expensive home you have ever sold? I have been involved in real estate transactions ranging from a $500,000 home in Meyerland to a $375,000 home in Eagle Springs to a $50,000 investment property in Denver Harbor (downtown Houston).
How long have you been in the area? I moved to Atascocita in 1999 from Philadelphia, and before that I grew up in New York. I don’t think I could live anywhere else at this point. Texas has more pride than any other state I have lived in, the friendliest people, a low cost of living (comparatively), and the best music and food around.
What do you think about the market at this time, and what advice might you have for someone considering buying or selling? The market continues to be very hot for homes priced under $250,000, which sell very quickly, often with multiple offers. Buyers in this market need to be ready to move quickly on an offer for a new home. For all home sellers, the best advice is that to maximize sales price, the home should be staged in the best light possible – clutter eats equity.
