Karen Fahrmeier Keller Williams Realty Northeast How long have you been a Realtor? Since October 31, 1998. Why did you become a realtor? In 1997, I searched long and hard for a new home in Kingwood with the help of Mark and Starr Heinrich. I was able to recall every home that we previewed, and described them in detail to friends who were also thinking about making a move.  I started helping them find their dream home, along with their realtor.  I just loved it, so decided to become a Realtor myself, and have enjoyed working with both buyers and sellers ever since. What is the most expensive home you have ever sold?  $1,235,000, in The Woodlands. How long have you been in the area? My husband and I moved to Kingwood in December of 1987, and I knew that there is no place else we would rather live. What do you think about the market at this time, and what advice might you have for someone considering to buy or sell? Now has never been a better time to sell, as the market has shifted to a “Sellers’ Market” due to the shortage of homes available.  When supply is low, and demand is high, values increase.  I believe in testing the market and encouraging my sellers to list at the highest possible price.    I am hoping that values will continue to increase throughout the greater Houston area.  Buyers moving from other areas that are still in a “Buyers’ Market” have to realize that Houston’s economy is strong.  The shift to a “sellers’ market” has taken place and they must be prepared to make a good offer fast before their dream home is gone.  It is still a great time to buy as interest rates remain low.    How can potential clients get in touch with you?  Potential clients can either call me at 281-389-2798 or email me at This email address is being protected from spambots.
