Lone Star College-Kingwood will hold a dedication ceremony on March 6 for its new Process Technology Center.

TECH CENTER TO OPEN
The Lone Star College-Process Technology Center will have a grand opening March 6 at 9 a.m. The center houses the campus’ Process Technology program, which prepares students for entry-level careers as process technicians and operators. It is also the location for science and engineering classes with labs that were displaced from the Kingwood campus due to Hurricane Harvey. The LSC-Process Technology Center offers state-of-the art simulation equipment, hands-on training, a hands-on process training unit, applied technology, and general academic coursework. Every Wednesday in March, they will be giving away a free Mystery Breakfast Entree from 6-10:30 a.m. Valid only at Chick-fil-A Kingwood; only one per person (must be present); while supplies last.

KINGWOOD TOWN HALL
Houston City Council Member Dave Martin will host a Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Town Hall meeting Tuesday, March 6, 2018 , at 6 p.m., at the Kingwood Community Center, 4102 Rustic Woods Dr. in Kingwood. In addition to discussing CIP projects, post-Harvey updates will be provided from various departments and local agencies.

LEADERSHIP NORTH HOUSTON
Leadership North Houston is accepting nominations for LNH Class XXIV. In addition to expanding leadership skills, this program is designed to help participants explore and understand critical issues in the North Houston region. Applications are accepted until May 4. A grand opening and ribbon cutting for Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Kingwood will be held Feb. 28 at 11:30 a.m. Hand and Stone is located at 4523 Kingwood Dr., Suite 100.

KINGWOOD PARK TEEN JOB FAIR
Kingwood Park High School is hosting a job fair Thursday, March 1 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the school cafeteria and inviting local business owners who are in need of part-time or summer help to attend.
