How long have you been a Realtor? 8 years full time and I became a broker in 2014.

Why did you become a Realtor? I would love to give you a cliché answer but the truth is I got my license because my husband and I were buying investment properties. Shortly after, I got laid off out of corporate America and quickly realized there is an immense satisfaction in working for yourself.  Now I can honestly say I love going to work every day. I love helping people find their dream home and as an added bonus I get to help other Realtors achieve their goals and realize how rewarding this career can be with a brokerage that encourages agents to embrace their individuality.

What is the most expensive home you have ever sold? $1.7 million

How long have you been in the area? I have lived in Houston since 2001, in the HKA area since 2006.

What do you think about the market at this time, and what advice might you have for someone considering buying or selling? Now is the time to make a move if you are considering it.  Historically, spring/early summer are always the best time to buy or sell as people often want to move when kids are out of school and many use their income tax return as their down payment.  As a buyer, interest rates are still low and as a seller, inventory is low, so well-marketed homes are still selling quickly.  As far as advice, I would say pick the right Realtor.  There are so many great agents in our area; interview several and make sure you are comfortable with who you hire as this is the single largest transaction you will likely make.
