Jennifer Hunter, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene How long have you been a realtor? I became a Realtor six years ago and loved it immediately. My passion for my clients and my love of real estate resulted in being awarded “Rookie of the Year” at Prudential Gary Greene 2006-2007. In 2009, 2010 and 2011, I was awarded Honor Society through Prudential Nationwide (top 10 percent). In 2010, I completed Prudential Gary Greene’s Leadership Development Academy. Over the last few years, I have obtained my ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) and New-Home Sale Specialist Certification. I am also a Certified Relocation Specialist and love it! Why did you become a realtor? I was a social worker for more than 10 years after college and always enjoyed helping people. When my son, Aidan, was born (almost 11 years, time flies!), I took a few years off to be at home with him. I enjoyed watching shows like “House Hunter’s” and “Flip this House”. My husband and I also purchased a few rental properties over the years. So, the opportunity to assist people, their families and my love for real estate naturally drove me to become a Realtor when my son began school. How long have you been in the area? I have been in the Houston area for over 25 years. I have been in the Kingwood/Humble and Atascocita area for 6 years. My family and I moved to Kingwood when my husband, Bill, was working a sales territory in our area. He told me how beautiful it was here and how friendly everyone was. The first time he brought me here; I loved it and knew I wanted to live here. Moving to the area was the best thing that could have happened to us. My son was diagnosed with Autism soon after the move and Atascocita has a wonderful school for children with Autism and related disorders called Including Kids ( The school has various events/fundraising opportunities out in the community that I am always a part of through my Better Homes and Gardens business. What do you think about the market at this time, and what advice might you have for someone considering to buy or sell? DO IT! It is a great time to buy and sell a home. Believe it or not, homes are getting multiple offers! If you are thinking about selling your home, make sure it is priced right and move in ready. If you are thinking about buying, the combination of low interest rates and available inventory, makes for a great opportunity to be in the market for a new home … Give me a call I can help!
