RE/MAX Associates Northeast Realtor – and her team – recognized with top honors
What’s better than taking home the gold and being recognized for your skills in the workplace? RE/MAX Associates Northeast Realtor Kim Fazzino said almost nothing beats a surprise award – except for having your entire team recognized for all their efforts as well.
At the recent 2017 RE/MAX of Texas Convention, Fazzino received the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award from CEO and Chairman Dave Liniger in recognition of her accomplishments and outstanding service to clients, and the Fazzino Group was honored to receive the brand-new “Titan’s Club Award,” a production award given to less than 1% of all RE/MAX agents in the state of Texas.
While it was a great honor, both awards came as a pleasant surprise, Fazzino said, as she has only been with RE/MAX Associates Northeast for the past two and a half years, and her team is even newer, forming just last year when her husband Greg Fazzino joined her at the brokerage. The couple started the Fazzino Group with agent Liz Olsen, Licensed Transaction Coordinator Beth Simpson, and Marketing Director and Client Care Coordinator Tiffany Thomas.
“Greg and I wanted to build something that’s a legacy, something we can pass on to our children,” Fazzino said. “We’re both heavily into communication and customer service – and this is the best business for us both.”
Upon graduating from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in speech communication with a marketing minor, Fazzino worked in client relations for Baker & Botts, then as a stay-at-home mother for 17 years. “When the children started going their own ways, I decided it was time to go back to work,” she said.
“Real estate is very service-oriented and provides me a way to use my communication and marketing background to assist people making one of the most important decisions they will ever undertake. It’s all about networking and I truly enjoy connecting people,” she said. “Our team ended the year in the top 1 percent of all agents in Texas, which is beyond what I even imagined possible when choosing this career.”
As a resident of Kingwood for 25 years, Fazzino is already connected to a number of people in her community. “My friends laugh and call me the ‘Mayor of Kingwood,’” Fazzino said. “That’s because I’m really involved – from being active at church to being a member of the National Charity League and the Kingwood Horseman’s Association.”
Rex Wall, owner of RE/MAX Associates Northeast, said Fazzino is passionate about providing professional and personalized service to her clients.
“Kim is active in her community and her involvement has provided her with valuable knowledge of the area,” he said. “Kim passes all that she knows along to her clients, taking a personal interest in helping them find their dream homes and serving as an advocate while they make this important investment.”
Now Fazzino is poised to introduce more individuals to her favorite neighborhoods and share what she knows with newcomers to the area, from hairdressers to dentists to where to buy the best furniture.
“RE/MAX has the people who are the best in the business,” she said. “Where else do you find agents who have worked there for 30 years? That just speaks volumes to me. The agents are seasoned, and they know what they’re doing.”
