Opening in the new H-E-B Center to a standing room-only crowd, this Louisiana-based restaurant anticipated and got the overwhelming warm welcome from area residents that they were hoping for.
Watching the countdown sign for weeks, future customers patiently waited before the door opened at 10 a.m. Nov. 15. Many Louisiana State University (LSU) fans are familiar with the first Raising Cane’s, an old building renovated at the entrance of LSU. The Kingwood location has all the same delicious foods in a new beautiful free-standing, state-of-the-art building.
At the helm are GM Chris Conroy and Operations Manager Alex Outtrim, two long-time Atascocita residents who grew up on the same street “raising cane” and are now in charge of the new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers restaurant.
Satisfying a craving for a late-night snack in Kingwood just got easier as this restaurant is open until 11 p.m. on weeknights and midnight on weekends. The Kingwood location is at 4509 Kingwood Drive. For the complete menu and the interesting history of Raising Cane’s, visit raisingcanes.com.
