TX— The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the Haden E. McKay, MD Citizen of the Year Award through 5 p.m. on Friday, November 4. The recipient will be announced in early January and will be honored at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Extravaganza in late January.
The Haden McKay Citizen of the Year Award recognizes selfless public service by an individual, performed by the recipient on his or her own time and not in the regular course of earning a living or advancing professionally.
Anyone 21 years of age or older who lives in the Lake Houston Area is eligible.
