Recently the Burger King located on West Lake Houston Parkway was renovated, and now they are back open for business. The restaurant was in need of a makeover and that's just what it got. The main changes were the lobby and bathrooms.
“I really like the bathrooms now,” said Manager Jessica Murga. “They are much cleaner and nicer.”
Since Burger King reopened, their sales have increased considerably, which they are attributing to the fresh look the restaurant now has. Burger King has been seriously upping its game recently in the constant battle with its fellow fast-food chains.
“Its like a brand-new restaurant. I love it,” said Murga.
The restaurant has undergone a transformation, with new tables and chairs and a cleaner look. they expect customer satisfaction to continue to increase. Another big change for the Burger King franchise is the return of a favorite menu item that has been off and on the menu since 2005. Burger King's Chicken Fries have been in popular demand over social media and the restaurant recently announced that they will be serving them all year.
“The most highly requested menu item is definitely the chicken fries. People can't get enough of them,” said Murga.
At the moment, Burger King is all about changes with everything from renovating their older restaurants to implementing new strategies for healthier meals. The company also recently revealed that they have stopped advertising soft drinks on their kids menu in an effort to allow parents to steer their kids toward healthier options. The new and improved Burger King is now back open and better than ever.
“ People are really loving it right now,” said Murga. “Customers have been coming in since we reopened and complimenting us on the new changes.”
The renovated restaurant is located at 2915 West Lake Houston Parkway in Kingwood near Town Center.
They are open daily from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
