Diana Coleman, Keller Williams Realty Northeast How long have you been a Realtor? Eight years. What made you become a Realtor? When my husband was transferred, I searched the four corners of Houston to find the perfect home for my family. I was very particular. I must have been a Realtor’s nightmare! I think I saw over 70 homes. Once I got settled, my Realtor commented that she needed an assistant and that she recalled that I was very interested in going into real estate. I said, “Yes, one day I would like to become a Realtor.” She said, “If you don’t do it now, when will you do it?” I think it was a passing comment but it stuck in my mind. I realized that she was right. So, I started taking the classes and got my license. What do you like best about real estate? I love the people. I used to be in health care so I only saw clients when they were not feeling well. I always tried to cheer them up. In real estate, overall, most people are happy. I have fun with them while providing professional real estate service. What do you think about the market at this time? The market is challenging. It is very important to assess the financial situations of buyers and sellers in order to create and execute a plan that will achieve their goals. Real estate is a market, and, as in all markets, they change. We have a strong, diverse economy. I feel very fortunate to be in Houston, Texas!
