Christi Harvey, Red Door Realty & Associates Q: How long have you been a Realtor? A. I have been a ReaItor since 2003. I’m a member of the Houston, Texas and National Association of Realtors, and Humble Chamber of Commerce. Q: What made you become a Realtor? A. I decided to get my real estate license and bridge the two careers together and do what I love to do, which is working with people in the community and building long-lasting relationships. Q: What is one of your strongest achievements in your career? A. I believe in supporting the community I live in, and I have to say one of the strongest achievements of my career was starting a real estate company that would do that. Red Door Realty & Associates was founded on strong beliefs, to give our clients a fresh approach in buying and selling, and friendly professionalism for any situation they may have, while supporting a local business. It’s a win win! Q: What do you think about the market at this time? A. This has been an exciting and challenging summer for the real estate industry. Sales have slowed somewhat due to a variety of factors, but the signs are there that we may have reached the bottom and there are great times ahead. Houston’s market has remained stronger and has been spared what other cities and states have been going through that you’ve seen in the news. Interest rates are at an all-time low and with the $8000 tax credit for first-time home buyer’s, it’s a great time to buy. Q: What brought you to the Humble/Kingwood area? A. I moved to Atascocita in 1997 with my husband. We have three children and love living by Lake Houston. We’ve watched the area grow and look forward to even bigger and better things to come.
