Q: How long have you been a Realtor?
I have worked as a Realtor for 25 years – 22 of those years were as an agent with RE/MAX Associates Northeast in Kingwood. I have also received extra training and earned designations as a certified residential specialist and accredited buyer representative.
Q: What made you become a Realtor?
In 1984, the airline where I was working as a flight attendant went bankrupt. I thought real estate would complement my customer service and people skills. I started working during Houston’s worst recession and found success anyway. I attribute this to my commitment to hard work toward the needs of my clients.
Q: What is the most expensive house you have sold?
During my career, I’ve helped more than 1,200 families with a price range of $50,000 to $750,000.
Q: What is one of your strongest achievements in your career?
I have been honored by RE/MAX of Texas with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” as well as induction into the “Hall of Fame,” both of which recognize the most productive agents. Each year since 1985, I have sold enough homes to be designated as either a Platinum Club member or 100% Club member. I feel blessed to have so many loyal clients – some families have used my services to buy as many as five different homes.
Q: What do you think about the market at this time?
I think it is a great time to buy or sell. The interest rates are lower than they have been in a long time and the Kingwood area is holding its own.
Q: What brought you to the Humble/Kingwood area?
I moved to this area from another part of Houston to be closer to family members. I love its natural beauty, amenities and people.
