A. W. Radle Realty Company: Covenant Realty, 1110 Kingwood Drive, Suite 203, Kingwood, TX 77339 Q: How long have you been a Realtor? I have been a Realtor since early 2001, approximately seven and a half years. Q: What made you become a Realtor? I retired as a health care management executive but wanted to stay active. Real estate afforded me that opportunity. Q: What is the most expensive house you have sold? $1 million, located on Old Atascocita Road in the Crosby area, just south of FM 1960 and east of FM 2100. Q: What is one of your strongest achievements in your career? In my health care career, it would have to have been being chosen to be vice president of the psychiatric division of Universal Health Care Services. I was responsible for operations and helped grow the division to 26 hospitals by the time I left the company. In real estate, I don’t believe I have reached that point just yet. That’s what keeps me going. I am always looking forward to a better tomorrow. Q: What do you think about the market at this time? The real estate market has been in the “dumps” for the past year or so, primarily due to actions taken by the mortgage industry handing out bad loans to individuals who were not qualified to have them. Certain political individuals wanted to change the landscape to make it possible for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay, to own a house, so they developed this program, which ended up being an extremely bad business decision and has resulted in so many foreclosures being on the market at this time, which is driving down the value of all homes. Q: What brought you to the Humble/Kingwood area? My career in health care transferred me to the general Houston area. I chose to live in the greater Humble/Kingwood area in 1981 and have been here ever since.
