HOUSTON DJ SWAPS SPINNING RECORDS FOR THE WHEEL  ON “AMERICA’S GAME™”

Houston native Tajj Badil-Abish will be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune Monday, May 24, 2021. Tajj started DJing almost nine years ago while studying at Duke University and has since balanced his passion with his professional career as a creative copywriter in the advertising industry. He currently lives in San Francisco, but his family still resides in Humble, TX. Tajj claims to own over 50 pairs of sneakers and his guilty pleasure is watching reality television. He started watching Wheel of Fortune at the age of seven with his grandmother and still watches every weeknight with his housemates. He was selected to be a contestant after uploading a video application at WheelofFortune.com and participating in a virtual audition. He hopes to take home enough cash winnings to book a trip and pay off some student loans.

WHERE TO WATCH: Weeknights on KHOU 11 at 6:30PM

Tajj will be spinning the Wheel and solving puzzles to win once-in-a-lifetime vacations and cash prizes as part of “Great Escapes” week. It’s never been easier to audition to become a contestant. Wheel of Fortune fans can submit applications at  https://www.wheeloffortune.com/join/be-a-contestant for a chance to be invited to a virtual audition. There, potential contestants can show off their puzzle-solving skills and potentially be selected to appear as a contestant on the show from the comfort of their own homes. If selected to be on the show, everyone goes home with a minimum of $1,000.

Wheel Watchers Club members will want to pay specific attention to the Mystery Round. If the $10,000 Mystery Wedge is won by a contestant, then the SPIN ID of a loyal viewer at home will be revealed, giving them the chance to also win $10,000.
