FamilyTime’s annual hearts of Gold Gala will once again honor extraordinary women who have made a difference in the community. The annual gala will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 5:30-11 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Houston.

This year’s Women of Achievement are: Sheila Childers, The Arts; Barb Campbell, Education; Jill Curran, Business; Martha Serna, Entrepreneur; Bebe Turner, Homemaker; Lauralee Veitch, Medical; Susan Pollard, Visionary; Sheila Aron and Monica Strange, Human Services; Kathy Townsend-Grinan, Women’s Advocate; Diana Rutherford, Volunteer; Luz Rebollar, Community Activist; Jackie Cate, Spirit of FamilyTime; and Jayne Hampson, Special Recognition.

In addition to honoring these amazing women, guests will have an opportunity to support FamilyTime via bid boards, live auction, and paddle call. Entertainment will be provided for dancing by the EZ Money Band. KTRK newscaster Erik Barajas returns once again to emcee.

Tickets to the Hearts of Gold Gala are $150 per person. Tables and sponsorship opportunities are available. The Hyatt Regency Houston is located at 1200 Louisiana Street. FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center is a non-profit organization that provides services and programs to encourage the mental health and wellness of the community as well as promote safety and support for the prevention of domestic and sexual violence. FamilyTime's vision is to advocate for women, men and children in crisis situations and offer them the vital services they need in order to regain control of their lives.  Services include counseling, case management, assistance with legal matters, and shelter from an abusive situation.
