The Kingwood Humble Area Aggie Moms’ Club is pleased to announce the winners of their 2016 scholarships.

The club selected 16 high school seniors from the local area to receive scholarships for Texas A&M University. The winning students represent a cross section of local high schools from Humble ISD, Porter ISD, New Caney ISD, private high schools and homeschoolers.

The Aggie Moms are also busy working on a July Howdy Party event in an effort to assist local students planning to attend TAMU in the fall. All new, transferring and returning TAMU students and family members are welcome to attend.

The Aggie Moms are planning a fun sendoff party for the students and their families. There will be snacks, door prizes, book awards and special guests.

The Howdy Party will be held Sunday, July 24 from 3 – 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Kingwood. The church is located at 2302 Tree Lane.
