Large number of students miss school due to illness

More than one-third of Woodland Hills Elementary students, 205 out of 581, were absent Thursday, April 27, either due to illness or as a precaution against becoming ill.

Lady Mustangs win district title

The Kingwood High School softball team won the District 21-6A championship after finishing the season with a 13-1 district record (25-4 overall).

PAC raises thousands to stop Humble ISD challengers

The Humble ISD school board election took an unprecedented turn in March when fliers started appearing in mailboxes and residents stated receiving robocalls. The fliers and calls were in support of three incumbents, Charles Cunningham, Robert Sitton and Angela Conrad.

Datta-Barua helps student get back on track

School board trustee candidate Dr. Lohit Datta-Barua has been out campaigning all over Humble ISD. “Walking the streets has been an eye-opener. I have definitely seen both sides of the coin. We have homes with grand courtyards as well as homes falling down around this district,” Datta-Barua said.
