Kingwood’s Northpark entrance will be beautiful

On Oct. 1, Dee Price of Sand Creek reported to the Kingwood Service Association (KSA) Parks Committee that she recently participated in a meeting to go over the landscaping plans for the Kingwood entrance area as part of the overall Northpark Drive Improvement Project.

Humble board discusses changing processes

Revisions to board operating procedures and committee meetings were discussed again at Humble ISD’s recent school board meeting resulting in no official change, but the board did indicate an expectation to improve transparency through additional working sessions as needed.

Theis chosen as new Humble police chief

Six lanes and an overpass coming to FM 1960

Four years from today, FM 1960 from Humble to the San Jacinto River Bridge could be drastically changed – a six-lane divided roadway with curbs and gutters and a raised median and, most dramatically, an overpass bridge at West Lake Houston Parkway.
