Woodland Hills Drive expansion is a ‘big deal’

There’s good news for Lake Houston drivers maneuvering the crowded roads in the southern Lake Houston area. Woodland Hills Drive will be a four-lane boulevard stretching from Beltway 8 to FM 1960.

Book Festival returns to Lone Star-Kingwood

A group of committed book lovers at Lone Star College-Kingwood took a gamble last year. In this age of Facebook and Twitter and streaming videos, they organized a book fair, inviting local as well as nationally and internationally published writers.
