Humble City Council holds hearing for drainage, announces election

On Feb. 10, the Humble City Council held a public hearing to discuss the use of federal grant dollars to be allocated from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 as a part of the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CLFRF) program. There are two highly-needed projects that include a proposed $716,000 drainage improvement project and a $2.8 million Country Village project from Wilson Road to east of Country Village.
West Fork Place to be affordable housing for seniors

A new affordable housing development is coming to Kingwood. Zach Cavender, senior vice president of the Mark-Dana Corporation, provided the Kingwood Super Neighborhood Council with a slide presentation in January about “West Fork Place,” a proposed real estate development of affordable housing for senior residents. The site is located just west of Highway 59/69 and south of the Kingwood Medical Center.
