At the November meeting of the Lake Houston Redevelopment Authority and Tax Increment Zone No. 10 (TIRZ), Houston Mayor Pro Tem Dave Martin made it clear he is fed up with waiting forever for the long ago approved Northpark Drive reconstruction to begin.

In November, the Kingwood Service Association (KSA) Parks Committee agreed to commit the KSA Parks Foundation to oversee and manage “Trees for Kingwood,” a new, long-term multi-organizational community program.

There really is light at the end of the tunnel, as Tachus Internet and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) successfully complete their Kingwood projects.

The James Tull Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, located in Humble, has been working on cleaning, resetting and restoring the Humble Cemetery for the last four and a half years. 

Marques Holmes was appointed by the Humble ISD school board to fill a vacant position. Holmes was one of nearly 40 who submitted their names in consideration of being appointed.
