Six lanes and an overpass coming to FM 1960

Four years from today, FM 1960 from Humble to the San Jacinto River Bridge could be drastically changed – a six-lane divided roadway with curbs and gutters and a raised median and, most dramatically, an overpass bridge at West Lake Houston Parkway.

Two big steps taken for flood mitigation in Kingwood

The Kingwood Area Super Neighborhood Council received welcome news Sept. 16 about progress toward achieving two long-term, flood-mitigation projects. One will reduce vulnerability from the south and the San Jacinto River and the other will reduce the threat from the north from inadequate land management due to expanding development.
