January crime rate in Kingwood described by HPD

Houston Police Sergeant Schmidt provided a summary and highlights from the January Kingwood crime report at the February Public Safety Committee meeting.“The January crime stats show six aggravated assaults. The first was a road-rage incident at 59 and Northpark where the suspect displayed a shotgun, according to the complainant. The second incident was a suspect attempting to break into a vehicle. He was shot at by the complainant and the suspect returned fire. The third one was an ex-boyfriend who confronted a new boyfriend and assaulted him and the last three aggravated assaults were all family violence related,” Schmidt said.
