I was born, raised and still live in the Liberty area. I earned my B.S. degree from East Texas State University (now known as Texas A&M at Commerce) with double majors in Photography and Journalism. My minor was in Printing and after my first typesetting class, I was hooked!
After graduation, I moved to New Mexico and began my career as a graphic designer. I spent 20 enchanting years there, but wanted to return to Texas to be near my family.
I've been with The Tribune since its beginning.
With nearly 40 years experience in the printing and graphic industries, I spend my work days designing ads and in-house documents, updating/maintaining our website, and managing our email marketing system -- all while keeping the art department organized and running smoothly.
I'm an avid flower gardener. Love to listen to Classic Rock and Blues music. And enjoy spending time on the coast soaking up some sun and looking for seashells.
