After renting the "Ninfa's" name, Ninfa's Mexican Restaurant, 1522 Kingwood Drive, recently decided to come up with its own name. The popular restaurant is now J. Pepez. Wei named new chief of medical staff at Kingwood Medical Center Kingwood Medical Center recently announced the addition of Chik-Fong Wei, M.D. as Chief of Medical Staff. Wei, a cardiologist, has practiced at Kingwood Medical Center for more than 10 years, serving as chairman of the Cardiology Committee, Chief of Staff- elect and the Board of Trustees for 2006-2007. Wei earned a medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and a Ph. D. in biophysical sciences at the University of Houston. A clinical assistant professor of medicine for the University of Texas Medical School, Wei is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
