Assistance for seniors and caregivers As the first baby boomers reach 60 this year, they are faced with a dilemma that no other generation has been faced with before: how to care for their aging parents while trying to balance the responsibilities of their own busy lives. Local entrepreneur Jim Royal recently opened a Right at Home franchise in Kingwood to help alleviate this problem. The concept offers in-home supportive care and assistance to seniors and other adults to help them continue to live independently, rather than being relocated to a nursing home. For as little as a few hours per week to as much as 24-hours a day, Right at Home offers a variety of highly personalized and flexible home care services, provided by trained caregivers, at reasonable rates. Services offered include hygiene assistance, light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and errands, laundry, local transportation, companionship and more. For more information, call Jim Royal at 281-358-9922. Hometown Realtors Matthew and Donna Barrett are Realtors with Covenant Realty and lifelong residents of the Humble area.
