Like mother, like daughter, newest agent Courtney Green is inspired by mom’s happiness.

Courtney Green didn’t have to look far to find the inspiration for her next career move. Her mother, Jill Curran, has been working with RE/MAX Associates Northeast for a number of years, and two years ago Green started helping out as a transaction coordinator.
“My mom is definitely a role model,” she said. “She found this career that she loves and I’m hoping to follow in her footsteps. The more I learn about real estate, the more I like it, so I decided to get my license.”
She explained that she always loved looking at houses and interior design and enjoys working with people, spending eight years as a flight attendant before returning to the city where she and her husband graduated from high school and becoming a stay-at-home mom for her four children.
“Kingwood is known for its schools and the community,” Green said. “I look forward to helping people find a home here, where my husband and I grew up and where we chose to raise our own children.”
When Green obtained her license, she knew she wanted to work for the same brokerage firm as Curran because the agents and staff all work together and communicate well. “I wanted to work where I already knew everyone,” she said. “I expect to be in this business for a long time. Real estate has definitely been something my mom never loses excitement about.”
Rex Wall, owner of RE/MAX Associates Northeast, is confident that Green will help newcomers feel at home in Kingwood and Humble.
“Courtney knows the neighborhood – and will be able to guide families as they make these important decisions to buy and sell in the area,” he said. “Plus, she’s a true people person and will make her clients feel at ease.”
