Kristen graduated from Kingwood High School in 2003 and then received her B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. She continued on to the University of Houston Law Center where she received her J.D. in 2010. Kristen is currently employed at BP America Production Company as a Land Negotiator.

Dwight graduated from Brazos High School in 1995 and then received his Associate degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology and General Studies in 2000. He continued on to the University of Houston-Downtown where he received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology in 2006. Dwight is currently employed at Sercel Incorporated as a Manufacturing Manager.

The wedding is planned for August 18, 2012, at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. The reception will immediately follow at The Bell Tower on 34th.
