.

iQ Academy Texas, an online school of Responsive Education Solutions in collaboration with KC Distance Learning Inc., is opening enrollment to students in more than 500 school districts across the state in grades three to eight for the 2010-11 school year, which begins on Aug. 23. The online public elementary and middle school provides students with a high-quality, tuition-free education. The curriculum offers core courses such as English and math, along with extensive elective courses. Students can access online courses and assignments virtually anytime, anywhere.

With back-to-school season just around the corner, many families are exploring and evaluating education options for the upcoming school year. Schools such as iQ Academy Texas provide small group instruction and one-on-one feedback from Texas-licensed teachers – all conducted online.

iQ Academy Texas will host a series of virtual open houses where prospective students and parents can learn about this unique education option, get a demonstration of how the school operates, and see what a virtual classroom looks like.
