AMI-Kingwood to sponsor AMI Boot Camp - Session II for HOA board members

Association Management Inc. - Kingwood (AMI) will sponsor AMI Boot Camp - Session II outlining homeowners associations’ (HOA) deed restriction enforcement Thursday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at Deerwood Country Club, located at 1717 Forest Garden Drive.  

The instructors will be AMI co-founder, chairman & CEO David Regenbaum and real estate attorney Marc Markel, a shareholder with Roberts Markel PC.  AMI Boot Camp-II is free and open to HOA board members living in and around Kingwood, Humble and Atascocita.

The purpose of the three-part AMI Boot Camp series is to clarify the role and responsibilities of the HOA board member, so that he or she may best represent their personal and community’s interests

Light snacks and smoothies will be served. Attendance at first AMI boot camp is not a requirement. Advance reservations are required and may be made by calling Courtney Maughan, AMI-Kingwood Service Specialist, 281-358-9090, by May 18. Seating is limited.

Kingwood Branch Library to offer resume writing class

Knowledge of keyboarding and using a mouse is preferred. This two-hour class will be held Tuesday, June 1 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  In this class, attendees will learn how to write a resume to let potential employers know more about their professional experience. Space is limited and registration is required. Call the library’s Adult Services Department at 281-360-6804 or come to the library’s second floor to register. The Kingwood Branch Library is located at 4400 Bens View Lane.
